The Gothenburg High School FFA Chapter will be launching a new advocacy project on Wednesday, Nov. 18. Members of the school’s FFA chapter will be at Peterson’s Supermarket on a monthly basis beginning Nov. 18 to advocate for agriculture by setting up stations in the produce, meats, dairy, and grains departments of the store. The stations will include informational pamphlets, a visual aid, and a food sample! “Our goal is to educate shoppers about agriculture and different foods in the particular section that they are in,” explained FFA officer Lunden Groene. The students plan to be in the store at the stations from 2:30 - 5 pm.
