Conservation Nebraska’s AmeriCorps Common Ground Program would like to invite the community of Gothenburg to a free screening of the NET documentary, Crane Song. The Crane Song screening will take place on March 26 from 6 - 7:30 p.m. at the Sun Theatre, 404 10th St.

Crane Song is a beautiful documentation of the migration of the Sandhill Crane through Nebraska in March. From 6 - 6:15 p.m. a free dinner will be served before the film starts. This event is free and open to the public.

The Sandhill Crane migration is one of the greatest wildlife spectacles on Earth and it is something that Nebraska is proud of. Sandhills Cranes are vulnerable to habitat loss and while they are stable now it is important that we keep people aware of their significance. For more information on this event please contact Elysia Olguin, AmeriCorps Conservation Director, at (308)539-2760 or eolguin@neconserve.org.
