The Gothenburg Speech team has been having a tremendous season, and continued their impressive journey as they traveled to Holdrege this past weekend to compete in the Voice of the Plains Tournament. Though they had a small team of only 20 members, the Swedes won the varsity sweepstakes by 87 points.

Individually, team members came away with two gold medals, two silvers and two bronze medals, and a host of other hardware. The Swedes are now gearing up for the Southwest Conference Tournament to be held March 10 at Valentine.
