Vibes Dance Studio may be one of the newest studios on the scene, but they sure aren’t rookies when it comes to bringing the best at competition.

The local studio, owned by Brittany Jesseph and Megan Aden, took their troup on the road March 25-28, competing in Talent on Parade in Omaha.

Each dancer that participated in the competition brought home a trophy for their performance.

The awards list is a tremendous feather in the cap of the studio who has only been alive for a little more than seven months.

Hip-hop dancers Serenity Schram and Katie Kreis brought home top-10 honors in their age divisions, Schram placing 8th in the 9-10 bracket and Kreis 10th in the 17-19 age group.

Cloggers Bodey Tederman and Adi Bartels also brought home individual trophies, Tederman with a seventh-place finish in the 11-12 age bracket and Bartels with in 8th in the 13-14 division.

Individual performances weren’t the only award-winning achievements Vibes brought home.

The 9-10 clogging group placed seventh overall. That team included Briony Aden, Addisyn Jesseph, Bodey Tederman, Serenity Schram and Aaliyah Houser.

The 13-14 clogging group took second place and included Taylor Burge, McKinzie Aden, Sarah Sander, Hayden Ricley and Adi Bartels.

Katie Kries and Hayden Ricley nabbed the judges’ choice award of “Most Swagalicious” for their hip-hop routine.

Vibes Dance Studio is far from finished with competition season. They travel to Denver April 10.
