The Brady football team continued its strong start to the season on Sept. 4, picking up a 46-8 victory over Wauneta-Palisade. The win moved the Eagles to 3-0 on the year.
Brady entered the matchup after posting back-toback shutouts against Sutherland and Axtell. While Wauneta-Palisade became the first team to score against the Eagles this season, Brady’s offense continued to put points on the board. Through three games, the Eagles have outscored their opponents 165-8.
Cinch Sanger helped lead the offense against the Broncos, rushing for 91 yards and a touchdown while also throwing for 31 yards and another score. The rushing touchdown continued a streak of five consecutive games in which Sanger has found the end zone on the ground dating back to last season.
