Brady Board Approves Education Funding, Fund Transfers as New School Year Begins

Dawson PPD Board Reviews Prescribed Burn Guidance

The Dawson Public Power District Board of Directors reviewed guidance for prescribed and controlled burns near electric equipment, recognized employees who competed in the Nebraska Lineworker Rodeo, and received a positive financial update during its August board meeting.

The Brady Board of Education met on July 13 for their regular monthly meeting following two special hearings regarding student fees and parental involvement in curriculum selection. With no public input for either special hearing, regular business was conducted as usual.

Operation Shine Camp is a unique summer camp geared for children with autism and Down Syndrome. This year, several volunteers from Gothenburg helped at the camp near Hordville.
