‘Cookie Man’ Named Harvest Festival Grand Marshal

Each year, a committee arm of the Gothenburg Chamber of Commerce is tasked with selecting someone from the community who epitomizes the slogan of living “The Gothenburg Way”. In other words, someone who selflessly gives of their time and talents to make Gothenburg a better place. That person is then recognized with the special honor of being the Harvest Festival Grand Marshal. This year, the Grand Marshal is Larry Franzen.

Larry Franzen is a lifelong Gothenburg resident and active community member. From helping run a successful family business to serving in the political arena and years on the fire department Franzen’s contributions to Gothenburg have been many.
