It was a very short and uneventful meeting of the Gothenburg City Council on Tuesday, July 7, with the entire meeting lasting less than 15 minutes. One of the items lumped into the consent agenda was a special event permit application.
The permit was filed by Joe Wahlgren on behalf of Livin’ Out Loud. The Christian concert and worship event is held each August at Lake Helen, with permission of the City Council.
This year, the council had no questions for Wahlgren and approved the application with the other consent agenda items, which were the June 18 council minutes and the June 17 Park Board minutes.
