was born June 28, 1950, and passed away on Sept. 8, 2026, at Kearney Regional Medical Center.
He was the son of Francis and Barbara (Lamb) Stull and lived in Gothenburg most of his life.
Brad loved tinkering with his cars, carving knives, fishing and hunting with Tobey and Jade, staying up to date on gold and silver prices, watching old westerns as loud as the TV could go (because he didn’t like wearing his hearing aids), and working with his hands.
Brad never shied away from hard work and found value and pride in a job well done. Brad was drafted into the Vietnam War in 1968. He served two tours and returned home in 1970. He worked at Paulsen’s where he laid concrete. After working at Paulsen’s for several years, he transitioned to driving truck for Skyview. For many years, he worked on the maintenance crew at IBP in Lexington. Combining work and travel took Brad and his wife Kathy to various locations in the Midwest as he worked for Dobson Brothers, from which he later retired due to medical conditions.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Francis and Barbara; siblings, Barbara Herrmann and Grant Stull; nieces and nephew, Tammy, Bobbie, Terry Jr, Sarah, and Madison; and beloved pets, Vixen and Jasper.
Those left to remember him include his son, Tobey Stull of Cozad and grandson, Jade Brown of Lincoln; wife, Kathy (Milner) Stull of Cozad; stepdaughter, Lori (Jim) Long of Gothenburg; nieces/nephews, Angie, Mitchel, Kayla, Cassie, Chestney, and Samantha; and many others who will cherish his memory.
Graveside services with military honors were held on Tuesday, Sept. 15, at Fort McPherson National Cemetery, with Pastor Keith Strasburger officiating. Memorials may be directed to the family for later designation.
