The Gothenburg cross country team competed at the Ogallala Invite on a rainy Thursday, Sept. 24; however, the weather did not slow down the Swedes.

Swedes Suffer First Loss in Overtime Heartbreaker

Coaches, players, and fans of both teams anticipated a close game last Friday night as the undefeated Gothenburg Swedes hit the road to meet the also unbeaten Ord Chanticleers.

Swede Softball Wraps Up Regular Season Play

The Gothenburg Swede varsity softball team has rounded out their regular season game play.

Aubrey Evert recorded the lone hit of the game, singling on a pop fly to right field. Herrick recorded the only walk of the game with multiple Swedes making good contact with the ball, but unable to rattle the fielding of Alliance.

Three Swedes Medal at Dawson County Invite

On Monday, Sept. 21, the Gothenburg girls’ golf team traveled to Lakeside Country Club in Lexington for a triangular meet with the two other Dawson County teams - Lexington and Cozad.

Brady’s Hot Start Continues With Fifth Straight Win

The Brady football team continued its undefeated start Thursday, Sept. 24, earning a 54-30 road victory over Mullen.The win moved the Eagles to 5-0 on the season.

Swedes Bring Home GOLD From Fillmore Central

The Gothenburg men’s and women’s cross country teams traveled east to Geneva on Thursday, Sept. 17, for a tough Fillmore Central Invitational meet featuring several highly ranked teams.
