School is back in session, and though the calendar says fall is still technically a month away, sports and fall activities are getting started.
Plans have also been finalized for Gothenburg’s biggest event of the autumn season - the annual Harvest Festival - and, as usual, a jam-packed schedule of fun events is in store.
The fun will kick off on Wednesday, Sept. 16, with Trivia Night at the Sun Theatre at 7 p.m., followed by four days of activities around town. In recent years, the Gothenburg Chamber of Commerce events committee has come up with some fun themes for the Harvest Festival and tailored the events around that theme. The 2026 theme is “Game On Gothenburg” and will include fun for every age and skill level.
