It’s Election Time in Nebraska

“Bring It, Nebraska!” That’s the message from our Secretary of State as we enter a pivotal election year. With new voting requirements in place, it’s more important than ever that citizens are informed, prepared, and ready to participate in the democratic process.

This is the first election cycle in Nebraska where voters are required to present a photo ID in order to cast a ballot. This change comes as a result of LB 515, passed by the Nebraska Legislature and signed into law. Beginning with elections after May 2024, voter identification is now a standard part of the voting process in our state.
