The headline of this article is the motto chosen to represent the GHS Class of 2026, as Gothenburg High School hosted its 129th Commencement Ceremony on Sunday, May 10, with 58 students earning their high school diplomas.

Spring is a wonderful season. Everything is turning green, trees are leafing out and flowers are beginning to bloom. Typically, the warmer temperatures are a much-anticipated reprieve from the harshness of winter, but this year, winter seems to have skipped Nebraska!

A few years ago, I had the joy of travelling to Africa and the opportunity to see all the exotic “zoo” animals in their native habitats. Both the white rhinoceros and the black rhinoceros impressed me.The two species can live in proximity to each other because they eat different foods.
