The green light has been officially given for a new daycare in Gothenburg.
At the June 15 meeting of the Gothenburg City Council, Jaycee Anderson presented a formal request for a special use permit to operate a licensed in-home daycare at her residence at 612 Washington Street. Anderson said her daycare will operate Monday - Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and she will be the only employee on site.
There was no public comment on the request during the public hearing, and the council unanimously approved the special use permit.
