Yvonne M. Wolf, 89, of Gothenburg, passed away July 8, 2026, at Stone Hearth Estates in Gothenburg.
Yvonne was born on Sept. 7, 1936, in Gothenburg to Virgil and Elsie M (Block) Geiken.
She grew up around Gothenburg and graduated from Gothenburg High School with the Class of 1954.
Yvonne married Marlyn Wolf on March 11, 1956, at the American Lutheran Church in Gothenburg. Following their marriage, they moved and lived south of Farnam. To this union two children were born: Christine and Kent. After her children were born, she was a stay-at-home mom and loved living south of Farnam. She loved spending time with her grandchildren, crocheting, ceramics, and sewing.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Marlyn; her son, Kent; and her parents.
Survivors include her daughter, Christine, and two grandchildren; along with many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
Private services will be held at American Lutheran 'Christ' Cemetery in Gothenburg. Memorials may be sent to Make-A-Wish Foundation of Nebraska. Blase-Strauser Memorial Chapel & Monuments is assisting the family.
