    Head Coach Tony Neels and long-time Assistant Coach Steve Reeves have built a dynasty with the cross country program at Gothenburg High School. With several conference and district titles and state qualifiers on their resume, the coaches are looking to continue that winning tradition heading into the 2026 season.

    Joining Neels and Reeves on the coaching staff this year are GHS cross country alumni Hannah (Anderson) Harrison and Isaiah Urman. The coaches and team will build on the momentum of the 2025 season in which both the boys and girls teams were SWC runner- up and District runner-up, and both teams finished 5th at the Class C state meet.
