Coming off a 3 sets to 1 win over Cozad last week, the Lady Swedes volleyball team headed out for their first road game of the season on Tuesday, Sept. 1, at Alma. Both teams battled, and the sets were a nip-and-tuck throughout, but the Swedes were able to come out on top and get the sweep over the Cardinals, 25-20, 25-20, and 25-23.
Junior Lauren Mroczek had a great performance in the match to lead the Swedes' offensive attack, finishing the night with 13 kills. Zoe Beveridge added 9 kills, and Grace Evert tallied 7 kills.
