The Maxwell Trap Team wrapped up its season at the 56th Cornhusker State Trap Shoot, held April 30 through May 2 in Doniphan. The shoot, open to participants from across the nation, drew approximately 2,400 6th-12th grade participants, primarily from Nebraska.

Barrett Debrie of the Smile City 4-H club in Gibbon claimed top honors by breaking 99/100 clays.
The senior division competed Friday and Saturday, shooting 75 rocks from the 16-yard line on Friday before moving to handicap competition on Saturday, where they also shot 75.
