There will soon be a new preschool operating in Gothenburg, though its location is very familiar.
McKenna Kolbo submitted a request for a special use permit to the Gothenburg City Council to open The 99 Preschool in the Cornerstone Bible Church on Lake Avenue. The facility had previously housed a preschool operated by Amber Olsen, which merged into the Early Childhood Learning Center at the Impact Center.
According to Kolbo’s application, the Bible-based preschool will operate during morning hours only, from 8 a.m. to noon, Monday through Thursday. At its May 19 regular meeting, the council unanimously approved the application.
The main item of discussion at the council meeting was a proposal from MKEC Engineering for a line routing study for a NPPD substation to the JWC substation.
