Reading Pays Rewards For Dudley Elementary

The kindergarten through 3rd grade students at Dudley Elementary recently enjoyed a well-earned trip to the Sun Theatre, and every seat was filled with smiles.

Each March, Dudley Elementary comes alive with friendly competition as its two teams, the K–3rd graders and the 4th–6th graders, go head-to-head in March Madness, the school's annual reading challenge. Students earn points in three categories: total words read, number of quizzes passed, and average quiz percentage. It takes strong readers at every level to bring home the win.
