The area 10U team from Dawson County made up of Gothenburg and Lexington boys competed in the Nebraska USSSA 10U AA baseball tournament July 17-19 in Lincoln. The first day the DC Outlaws went 2-0 with some great wins and exciting moments.
On the second day the Outlaws dropped their first game but battled back to stay in the tournament and went 1-1 on the day. Then on Sunday, July 19, the Outlaws battled back through to stay in the double elimination tournament bracket going 3-0 to win the Championship game. They came out on Championship Sunday as the new 2026 Nebraska USSSA 10U AA State Champions.
The Outlaws scored a tournament high of 82 runs during the tournament, only allowing 39 runs in seven games. They battled through high late July triple digit temperatures to finish strong.
