The Eagles traveled to Arnold last Friday, May 8 for the Dave Blevins Memorial Invite hosted by the South Loup Bobcats. The meet was their last regular season competition for 2026, and they faced a field of nine total teams, including Sandhills Valley, Sandhills/Thedford, Arthur County, Overton, Mullen, Anselmo-Merna, South Loup, and North Platte St. Pat’s.
Both the men and ladies landed in fifth place overall for the day, with their small but mighty teams taking home multiple individual medals as well. First and second place on both sides were claimed by North Platte St. Pat’s and South Loup, respectively. NPSP racked up 163 points (boys) and 116 points (girls), while the Bobcats tallied 86 (boys) and 94 (girls).
