Eagles Open Season With Back-to-Back Shutouts

    The Brady Eagles have gotten off to a strong start to the 2026 football season, opening the year with back-to-back shutout victories over Sutherland and Axtell.

    Brady opened the season at home on Aug. 21 with a 57-0 win over Sutherland. The Eagles controlled the game on the ground, finishing with 307 rushing yards.

    Cinch Sanger led the rushing attack with 143 yards and 4 touchdowns on just 11 carries. Sanger also completed 3 of 4 passes for 28 yards. Carter Franzen led the Eagles in receiving with 2 catches for 30 yards. The Eagles carried that momentum into their first road game of the season on Aug. 28, defeating Axtell 62-0. Brady once again found success on the ground, rushing for 273 yards while adding another 118 yards through the air.
