Four Eagles Punch Their Ticket to State Track

The Eagles flew high at Paxton last Wednesday, May 13 for the NSAA District D-8 meet, ending the day with four athletes qualifying for the state competition. The Brady tracksters split their representation, with two boys -- Andrew Karchner and Tyler Roe -- and two girls -- Payton Stienike and Kenlee Fattig -- set to take the trip to Omaha on May 22-23. The Eagles faced a field of eleven other teams, including Anselmo-Merna, South Loup, Mullen, Hyannis, Sutherland, Sandhills Thedford, Maxwell, Arthur County, Paxton, Sandhills Valley and Cody-Kilgore.

The ladies led the Brady charge at the district meet, garnering seventeen top-ten finishes on their effort for the day and finishing in third place overall with a collective 73 points. Our neighbor to the north, South Loup, took first place with…
