North Platte Community College hosted its second annual Black & Gold High School All-Star Game on June 6. The event showcases outstanding student-athletes from across western Nebraska and northeastern Colorado, all of whom were nominated by their high school coaches.
Knights women basketball players Joie Rodriguez and Kyenna Jackson were chosen to serve as the head coaches for the girl’s teams, while Kole Brandon (North Platte Community College) and Isaiah Fox (Paxton) led the way on the boy’s side. The games were played at Sutherland High School.
Selections for the girls’ Black Team included Halsey Thomalla and Aubry Hall of Gothenburg High School, and Payton Stienike of Brady High School.
