Indianhead Golf Club in Grand Island was the site of the 2026 NSAA High School State Boys Golf Championships, with Class C taking the course for two days of competition.
The first round was played on Wednesday, May 27, for the Swedes, who qualified as a team for the tournament. Trey Bartels had a good day on the course as he led the team with a 79, followed closely by Valon Pfeifer, who was just one shot back with 80.
A.J. Holsten shot an 82 in the first round of play, while Brady Cornwell finished with 87 strokes. The team’s highest score of the round is not included in the overall team scoring.
For day one, that was Jaxon Earll, who finished the round with an 89.
