The regular season has officially wrapped up for the Lady Swedes tennis team. The girls headed to Lexington on Tuesday, May 12, for a triangular with the Minutemaids and Adams Central and then to Kearney on Thursday, May 14, for a dual with the Kearney Catholic Stars.
At the Lexington triangular, Zoe Beveridge took on the #1 singles spot and was the sole varsity Swede to walk away with a win - going 2-0 on the day. Her first match saw her paired up with Paige Redline of Adams Central, winning 5-7, 6-1, 1-0(8) in a tiebreaker. Her second match paired her with Jovie Worthing of Lexington whom she defeated 6-1, 6-3.
Grace Evert played the #2 singles slot for the Swedes. She was paired up against Gianna Boelhower of Adams Central for her first match of the game who she was defeated by 6-1, 6-0. …
