Gothenburg High School has been selected to receive an annual $5,000 grant for the next four years through a special program.
On Aug. 24, EducationQuest Foundation announced that 24 Nebraska high schools have been awarded $187,500 in College Access Grant funding over the next four years to develop and enhance programs that increase the number of students who attend college.
EducationQuest awards College Access Grants every two years through a competitive application process. Schools are funded for four years, and annual awards range from $2,500 to $20,000, depending on school enrollment.
Since the program began in 2006, EducationQuest has awarded $7.83 million in grants to 123 schools.
