Rental Rates For Nebraska in 2026

What does it cost to rent pasture this year? The final 2026 Nebraska Cash Rental Rates Survey results are now available.Average monthly pasture rental rates increased between 2% and 8% compared to last grazing season, continuing the upward trend across Nebraska.

Council Addresses Roll-Off Container, Clean City Concerns

The City of Gothenburg provides a permanent 24-hour public roll-off container for bulky waste and a 24-hour recycling drop-off site.The program also includes Clean City Week in June. It is a service valued by many residents. However, it is also a service that is continually abused.

Part 3 of a SeriesEditor’s Note: A lot can be learned about a town’s history by visiting local cemeteries. That’s exactly what I did, setting out on a quest to find some of the oldest grave markers in area cemeteries I could find, then looking for the stories behind them.

Board Approves Pay Increase For District Subs

Nebraska Corn Congratulates Jobman on Election to the NCGA Corn Board

Last week, farmers from across the country attended the National Corn Growers Association’s (NCGA) Corn Congress in Washington, D.C. During the event, Nebraska corn farmer Andy Jobman was elected to NCGA’s Corn Board.
