The Village of Brady has announced their annual community-wide garage sale dates for this summer and encourages all residents to get on the map. The yard sales will be held on Friday, July 17 from 3-7 p.m., and Saturday July 18 from 8 a.m.- 3 p.m.

A living legend passed through Gothenburg last week, stopping for a photo opportunity and for locals to get a sense of the enormity of an 80-year-old workhorse of a train engine, arriving at the crossing at Highway 30 and Lake Avenue at about 10:30 a.m. on May 28 with its iconic whistle.

Council Discusses Litigation Issues, Approves New Preschool

There will soon be a new preschool operating in Gothenburg, though its location is very familiar.
McKenna Kolbo submitted a request for a special use permit to the Gothenburg City Council to open The 99 Preschool in the Cornerstone Bible Church on Lake Avenue.
