Retaining their young people is the goal of every small community, and the key to a vibrant and thriving town. So when a Gothenburg native leaves high school and goes off to college, then returns to their hometown with the knowledge they have gained to live and work - that is a big win.
That is the story of Seth Daup. A 2021 graduate of Gothenburg High School, Daup headed to the University of Nebraska-Lincoln after graduation where he was accepted into the Jeffrey S. Raikes School of Computer Science and Management.
