A simple question at a school family event last year has grown into a brand-new organization aimed at strengthening the connection between Brady Public School, its families and the community.
When Brady parent Amy Blake asked Principal Samantha Pavelka if the school had a Parent Teacher Organization, the answer surprised her.
'There will be if you start one!' Pavelka replied. That conversation planted the seed for what is now the Brady Eagles Parent Teacher Organization, a new group dedicated to supporting teachers, encouraging family involvement and creating opportunities for students to thrive both inside and outside the classroom.
