You might be hard-pressed to find an adult who has not somehow been impacted by cancer. Perhaps it was the diagnosis of a friend, a family member, or even a famous actor or musician whom you’ve admired. We’ve all been touched somehow by the disease.
So has Mary Harbur. Following her own diagnosis of breast cancer a few years ago, Harbur came up with an idea that would let those undergoing cancer treatment know they are not alone.
Partnering with her friend Lyndi Miller, the Chemo Comfort Tote project was launched.
The idea is to provide bags filled with items designed to give at least a bit of comfort to cancer warriors.
