The Gothenburg men’s and women’s cross country teams had their second competition of the 2026 season at Broken Bow on Saturday, Sept. 12. The Swedes won the team championship in both the men’s and women’s divisions.
It was a great day for junior Scout Bell, who not only won her second gold medal of the season, but also ran the best time of her career. Bell bettered her time from the previous week by more than 10 seconds to finish with a time of 19:12.1 Freshman Cassidy Reiman also had a good day for the Swedes finishing in third place with a time of 20:18.8.
Brooklyn Reiman’s time of 21:48.5 was good for ninth place. Jenna Anderson had a time of 22:48.1, Ruby Beveridge finished with a time of 23:14.1, and Tessa Carter ran a time of 25:15.8. Rounding out the Swedes women’s team were Adalyn Ca…
