Brady Public Schools has welcomed Heidi Jones, RN, BSN, as the district’s new school nurse.
Jones brings 15 years of nursing experience to the district, including experience in emergency and pediatric care. She began her healthcare career as an EMT before becoming a registered nurse.
Throughout her career, Jones has worked in a variety of emergency and acute-care settings, including two pediatric emergency departments. Most recently, she served as an Emergency Department Nurse Manager at Providence Medical Center in Oregon.
Working with children has been an especially meaningful part of her nursing career, and Jones said she is looking forward to using that experience in a school setting.
